Program Itenary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1350 M)

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to your accommodation. You will have some free time to relax after your journey. Later, there will be a brief orientation from our representative.

Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing and Trek Preparation

Enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Kathmandu with a French-speaking guide. Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, the old city, and its local market on foot. Afterward, take a walk up to the Swayambhunath Stupa for panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley.

Day 3: Flight to Lukla (2,800 m) - Trek to Phakding (2,600 m)

In the early morning, take a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, offering stunning views of the eastern Himalayas, including Langtang, Gauri, Shanker, Numbur, Manglungtse, and Everest. After landing in Lukla, the Sherpas will assist with your equipment, and the trek begins with a short descent into the Dudh Khosi Valley. You’ll pass through Sherpa villages and cross a suspension bridge over the Dudh Khosi River.

Day 4: Phakding (2,600 m) - Namche Bazar (3,440 m)

Today’s trek starts with a walk along the Dudhkosi River and a gradual ascent. You’ll cross the river several times, pass the village of Jorsale (2,805 m), and then begin a steep climb to Namche Bazar (3,440 m). After about 30 minutes, you’ll get your first glimpse of Everest. Once in Namche, you’ll have time to explore this famous Sherpa village and its market.

Day 5: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazar

Spend a day in Namche Bazar for acclimatization. Explore the surrounding area, visit the Sherpa Museum, or just relax in the vibrant market town. Overnight stay in Namche Bazar.

Day 6: Namche Bazar (3,440 m) - Phortse (3,800 m)

Today’s trek takes you above Namche Bazar, following a gentle path up to the Mong Pass (3,900 m), where you can enjoy views of Ama Dablam and Kantega. Afterward, you’ll descend to Phortse Tenga (3,600 m) by the Dudh Khosi River and then climb to Phortse (3,800 m).

Day 7: Phortse (3,800 m) - Pheriche (4,270 m)

Today’s walk is a steady climb through the Khumbu Valley to the village of Pangboche (3,930 m), which is overlooked by Ama Dablam. After following the river for an hour and a half, you will continue to Pheriche (4,270 m).

Elevation loss: 100 meters
Walking time: 5 to 6 hours

Day 8: Pheriche (4,270 m) - Lobuche (4,910 m)

A short walk takes you to Thokla (4,620 m), and then you will ascend to the Thokla Pass (4,830 m), where there are chortens dedicated to those who perished in the Everest expeditions. From there, the trail is rocky until you reach Lobuche (4,910 m).

Day 9: Lobuche (4,910 m) - Gorakshep (5,140 m) - Everest Base Camp (5,364 m)

You will follow the Khumbu Glacier and trek up to Gorakshep (5,140 m), where you will settle into the lodge. In the afternoon, take an excursion to Everest Base Camp (5,364 m) and return to Gorakshep.

Day 10: Gorakshep (5,140 m) - Kala Pattar (5,545 m) - Dingboche (4,350 m)

A pre-dawn departure will take you to Kala Pattar (5,545 m) for magnificent views of the surrounding peaks. After spending time at the top, you’ll descend to Dingboche (4,350 m).

Elevation loss: 1,250 meters

Day 11: Dingboche (4,350 m) - Tengboche (3,860 m)

You will descend through Pangboche (3,930 m), home to one of the oldest monasteries in Nepal, and then continue to Tengboche (3,860 m), the spiritual center of the Khumbu region. Here, you can visit the renowned Tengboche Monastery.

Day 12: Tengboche (3,860 m) - Monjo (2,800 m)

Today, you’ll make a long descent to the river, followed by an ascent to Sanasa. After lunch in Namche, continue your descent to Monjo (2,800 m) for the night.

Day 13: Monjo (2,800 m) - Lukla (2,800 m)

You’ll walk through the Gumila Forest on your way back to Lukla (2,800 m).

Day 14: Flight to Kathmandu

In the morning, take a flight back to Kathmandu, offering beautiful views of the Himalayas on a clear day. After arriving, you’ll be transferred to your hotel.

Day 15: Departure from Kathmandu

Transfer to the Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure. Take with you unforgettable memories of the trek and the cultural richness of Nepal.

  • Full board during the trek in lodges (with private toilets where available).
