Program Itenary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to rest and explore the vibrant city.

Day 2: Free Day in Kathmandu

Take the day to explore Kathmandu at your leisure. Visit historic sites like Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Kathmandu Durbar Square, or the bustling streets of Thamel. This day also allows time for last-minute preparations for the trek.

Day 3: Drive Kathmandu to Dharapani via Besisahar (1,950 m)
  • 5-hour drive to Besisahar followed by a 4-hour jeep ride to Dharapani.
  • Enjoy the countryside views during the journey.
  • Accommodation: Tea house.
Day 4: Trek Dharapani to Koto (2,600 m)
  • Pass through lush pine forests and traditional villages like Timang.
  • Follow the Marsyangdi River with Himalayan backdrops.
  • Walking Duration: 5–6 hours.
  • Accommodation: Tea house.
Day 5: Trek Koto to Metha (3,560 m)
    • Enter the restricted Naar Phu region.
    • Cross suspension bridges and ascend through deep gorges.
    • Walking Duration: 7 hours.
    • Elevation Gain: 1,300 m.
    • Accommodation: Lodge/Guesthouse.
Day 6: Trek Metha to Phu Gaon (4,050 m)
  • Continue through sparse vegetation and Tibetan chortens.
  • Enjoy views of Pisang Peak and other snow-capped mountains.
  • Walking Duration: 7 hours.
  • Elevation Gain: 1,100 m.
  • Accommodation: Lodge.
Day 7: Acclimatization and Exploration in Phu Gaon
  • Optional hike to Himlung Himal Base Camp or local monasteries.
  • Immerse in the rich Tibetan culture of Phu.

Day 8: Trek Phu Gaon to Naar Phedi (4,170 m)
  • Descend through rugged terrain before ascending to Naar Phedi.
  • Walking Duration: 5 hours.
  • Elevation Gain: 700 m.

Day 9: Trek Naar Phedi to Naar Village (4,200 m)
  • A short trek to reach Naar village.
  • Spend the afternoon exploring the culturally vibrant settlement.
  • Walking Duration: 3 hours.
  • Elevation Gain: 600 m.
  • Accommodation: Lodge.
Day 10: Cross Kang La Pass (5,399 m) to Ngawal (3,700 m)
  • Begin with a challenging ascent to Kang La Pass for panoramic views.
  • Descend to Ngawal, part of the Annapurna Circuit.
  • Walking Duration: 8–9 hours.
  • Elevation Gain: 1,200 m; Loss: 1,700 m.
  • Accommodation: Tea house.
Day 11: Trek Ngawal to Manang (3,550 m)
  • Leisurely trek with views of Annapurna and Gangapurna.

Day 12: Trek Manang to Yak Kharka (4,110 m)
  • Trek through alpine landscapes.

Day 13: Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4,450 m)

Day 14: Thorong Phedi to Thorong La Pass (5,416 m) to Muktinath (3,800 m)

Day 15: Muktinath to Jomsom (2,800 m)
  • Descend through the Kali Gandaki valley.
  • Pass through the traditional village of Lupra.

Day 16: Fly Jomsom to Pokhara (820 m)
  • Morning flight to Pokhara.
  • Rest and enjoy leisure activities by Phewa Lake.

Day 17: Explore Pokhara
  • Visit popular sites like Davis Falls, World Peace Pagoda, and caves.
  • Accommodation: Hotel.
Day 18: Fly Pokhara to Kathmandu
  • Return flight to Kathmandu.
  • Optional shopping and farewell dinner.
  • Accommodation: Hotel Nepali Ghar or similar.

 

Day 19: Buffer Day in Kathmandu
  • Reserve for unforeseen delays or relax and explore.
  • Accommodation: Hotel 

 

Day 20: Departure from Kathmandu

Transfer to the Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure. Take with you unforgettable memories of the trek and the cultural richness of Nepal.
