Program Itenary
After arriving at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to the hotel. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Take the day to explore Kathmandu at your leisure. Visit historic sites like Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Kathmandu Durbar Square, or the bustling streets of Thamel. This day also allows time for last-minute preparations for the trek.
Your journey starts with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, covering 200 km of beautiful landscapes, including green hills, rivers, and terraced fields. Along the way, you’ll get a glimpse of village life in Nepal. Upon reaching Pokhara, relax by Phewa Lake and enjoy the view of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Known as the “Gateway to the Himalayas,” Pokhara offers a serene atmosphere with lively cafés and breathtaking vistas.
After breakfast, drive from Pokhara to Ghandruk, a traditional Gurung village at 1,940 meters with stunning views of the Annapurna Massif. From Ghandruk, begin the trek with a steady ascent through rhododendron forests. The route offers peaceful surroundings and incredible views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machapuchare. The day ends in Chule, a small settlement known for its spectacular sunrise views.
The day starts with a gentle uphill walk through forests of oak, bamboo, and rhododendrons. The serene trail gives opportunities to spot wildlife such as birds and langur monkeys. As you gain altitude, the scenery opens up, offering panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Dobato is a quiet, high-altitude village known for its magnificent sunset views over the mountains.
Today, you’ll trek to Ghorepani, a popular stop on the Annapurna circuit. The trail takes you through rhododendron forests, offering scenic mountain views. Ghorepani is a busy village where trekkers converge, known for its proximity to Poon Hill, a famous spot for sunrise views. The guesthouses here offer a cozy atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a day of trekking.
Wake up early for a pre-dawn hike to Poon Hill (3,210 meters/10,531 ft) to witness a stunning sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. After taking in the views, descend to Hile and continue downhill to Hile, passing picturesque villages and farmland.
From Hile, you’ll drive back to Pokhara for a well-deserved rest.
After spending the night in Pokhara, drive back to Kathmandu, retracing the scenic route through valleys and hills. Upon arrival, you’ll have time to reflect on your adventure or explore the city at your own pace.
Transfer to the Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure. Take with you unforgettable memories of the trek and the cultural richness of Nepal.
