Overview

The Annapurna Circuit Trek is a renowned 11-day adventure that takes you around the stunning Annapurna massif, offering a diverse experience of Nepal’s landscapes and cultures. Starting typically from Besisahar and ending in Jomsom or Pokhara, the trek covers varying terrains, from lush subtropical forests to arid alpine regions.

Program Itenary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1350 M)

After arriving at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to the hotel. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Exploration Day in Kathmandu

Take the day to explore Kathmandu at your leisure. Visit historic sites like Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Kathmandu Durbar Square, or the bustling streets of Thamel. This day also allows time for last-minute preparations for the trek.

Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu (1,324m) to Dharapani (1,860m)

Your journey begins with a long but scenic drive from Kathmandu to Dharapani. This 8-10 hour drive follows the Prithvi Highway along the Trishuli River before heading up into the hills, passing terraced fields, traditional villages, and lush forests. You’ll reach Dharapani, a peaceful village, where you can rest and acclimatize for the trek ahead.

Day 4: Trek From Dharapani to Chame (2,670m)

The trek begins with a steady ascent through forests of pine and rhododendron, crossing several suspension bridges over the Marsyangdi River. You’ll arrive at Chame, the district headquarters of Manang, known for its hot springs to relax and soothe your muscles after a full day of trekking.

Day 5: Trek From Chame (2,670m) to Upper Pisang (3,300m)

Today’s trek takes you through dense forests and higher alpine regions. You’ll pass through the village of Bhratang and admire the dramatic Paungda Danda rock face. As you approach Upper Pisang, the landscape becomes more arid and the Annapurna range more prominent

Day 6: Trek From Upper Pisang (3,300m) to Manang (3,540m)

The trail from Upper Pisang to Manang offers a choice between a high route with stunning views and a lower one. After merging at Mungji, you continue to Manang, known for its Tibetan-influenced culture.

Day 7: Acclimatization Day at Manang (3,540m)

A rest day to help your body adjust to higher altitudes. Explore Manang and its surroundings, visiting Gangapurna Lake or hiking to viewpoints for stunning vistas of the Annapurna range.

Day 8: Trek From Manang (3,540m) to Yak Kharka (4,020m)

Resume the trek with a gradual ascent towards Yak Kharka. The trail climbs out of the Marsyangdi Valley into the high alpine region, with sparse vegetation and views of Annapurna III and Gangapurna.

Day 9: Trek From Yak Kharka (4,020m) to Thorong Phedi (4,450m)

Today’s trek involves a steady climb to Thorong Phedi, the base camp for crossing the Thorong La Pass. The terrain becomes rugged, and you’ll feel the altitude’s effects more acutely.

Day 10: Trek from Thorong Phedi (4,450m) to Muktinath (3,760m) via Thorong La (5,416m)

The most challenging day, crossing the Thorong La Pass. The views from the pass are extraordinary. After descending to Muktinath, a sacred pilgrimage site, you’ll feel a sense of peace and accomplishment.

Day 11: Drive From Muktinath (3,760m) to Tatopani (1,270m)

After visiting Muktinath temple, drive through the Kali Gandaki Gorge to Tatopani. Relax in the natural hot springs, said to have healing properties.

Day 12: Trek From Tatopani (1,270m) to GHOREPANI (800m)

Enjoy a scenic drive from Tatopani to Pokhara, passing picturesque villages and terraced fields. Relax by Phewa Lake, reflecting on your journey.

Day 13: Trek From GHorepani (1,270m) to Tadapani/Chule (800m)

Day 14: Trek From Tadapani CHuler (1,270m) to Ghandruk (800m)

Day 15: Drive From Ghandruk (1,270m) to Pokhara (800m)

Enjoy a scenic drive from Tatopani to Pokhara, passing picturesque villages and terraced fields. Relax by Phewa Lake, reflecting on your journey.

Day 16: Drive From Pokhara (800m) to Kathmandu (1,400m)

The adventure ends with a 6-7 hour drive back to Kathmandu along the Prithvi Highway.

Day 17: Departure from Kathmandu

Transfer to the Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure. Take with you unforgettable memories of the trek and the cultural richness of Nepal.
