Overview

The Three Pass Trek via Everest Base Camp is an adventurous and challenging trek through Nepal’s Everest region, famous for its stunning landscapes and high-altitude experiences. Starting with a visit to Everest Base Camp, trekkers will enjoy close-up views of the world’s tallest peak and the vibrant atmosphere surrounding the base camp.

The journey takes you across three high-altitude passes—Kongma La (5,545 m), Cho La (5,420 m), and Renjo La (5,388 m)—each offering unique and breathtaking panoramas. Kongma La provides views of Makalu and the Lhotse-Nuptse wall, while Cho La connects the Gokyo Valley to Everest, and Renjo La offers sweeping vistas of Everest, Makalu, and the Rolwaling Range.

In addition to crossing these high passes, trekkers will also explore the beautiful Gokyo Lakes, known for their turquoise waters, and enjoy panoramic mountain views from Gokyo Ri (5,357 m). The trek passes through traditional Sherpa villages, providing cultural insights and visits to famous landmarks such as Tengboche Monastery and Kala Patthar. With significant altitude gains, this trek requires careful acclimatization, physical fitness, and proper gear. The adventure concludes with a return to Kathmandu, having trekked through some of the most stunning and remote landscapes in the Himalayas.
